Investment in Innovative SIP Panel Cutting and Milling Equipment
In 2025, SIA “RG Development” (brand AlpineSIP) made a significant investment by acquiring a specialized machine for cutting and milling SIP (structurally insulated) panels. This machine was custom-engineered based on expertise gained in the US SIP panel manufacturing sector.
Since comparable machines are not commercially available on the market, a unique solution was developed to suit the company’s requirements, substantially enhancing production accuracy, efficiency, and automation. This investment allows the company to produce high-quality SIP panels with increased precision, marking a key contribution toward its strategic goal of manufacturing turnkey house-building kits that can later be assembled by following simple instructions.
The project was implemented with support from the European Union, the National Development Plan 2027 (NAP 2027), and the Local Action Group LEADER programme.
